Got Questions?

Here are the answers to the most common questions from school administrators and counselors evaluating Ronin Education.

About Ronin Education

Ronin Education is an educational technology company that builds structured, school-integrated academic programs. Our flagship product, Ace The Test, is a comprehensive ACT and SAT preparation system designed for high school deployment.
Ace The Test is designed for high school students preparing for the ACT and SAT. It's sold to schools, districts, and education networks — not directly to families. This B2B model ensures equitable access for every student in a school, not just those whose families can afford private test prep.
Yes. Ace The Test covers all sections of both the ACT (English, Math, Reading, Science) and the SAT (Reading & Writing, Math). Schools can deploy the program for one or both tests based on their student population's needs.
Yes. Our SAT content is fully updated for the digital SAT format, including the adaptive testing structure, shorter passages, and integrated reading and writing sections. We update our content regularly as College Board releases new specifications.

Getting Started

Most schools are fully launched within 2–3 weeks from contract signing. This includes account setup, roster import, staff training, and student onboarding. Larger districts may require 4–6 weeks depending on the number of schools and integration requirements.
Ace The Test is a cloud-based platform that runs in any modern web browser. Students need a device (Chromebook, laptop, tablet, or phone) and an internet connection. There's nothing to install — no software, no apps, no server requirements. We support single sign-on (SSO) through Google, Clever, and ClassLink.
We design deployment around your existing schedule. Common models include advisory/homeroom periods (20–30 min), dedicated prep blocks (45–60 min), study hall or flex time, and after-school programs. During onboarding, we work with your team to build a schedule that works for your specific constraints.
No. The curriculum is fully structured — lessons, practice sets, and assessments are all built into the platform. Teachers and proctors serve as facilitators, not content experts. We provide training on how to use the platform and monitor student progress, but the instructional heavy lifting is handled by the system.
Absolutely. Our Pilot plan is specifically designed for this. Most schools start with a single cohort of 50–100 students for one semester, evaluate the results, and then expand to school-wide deployment. We'll provide a full outcome report at the end of the pilot to support your expansion decision.

Cost & Contracts

Pricing is customized based on your school size, student count, and deployment model. We offer per-semester and annual licensing options. All plans include the full curriculum, practice tests, analytics dashboard, and dedicated support. Contact us for a tailored quote.
Ace The Test qualifies under multiple common funding streams including Title I (college and career readiness), ESSER/pandemic recovery funds, state college readiness grants, general instructional materials budgets, and PTA/foundation supplemental funding. We provide budget justification templates and ROI documentation to support your procurement process.
Yes. District-level licensing includes volume pricing that reduces the per-school cost significantly. The more schools in the agreement, the more favorable the per-student economics. Contact our partnerships team for district pricing details.

Measuring Impact

On average, students who complete the full program see a 4+ point increase on the ACT and 120+ point increase on the SAT. Results vary by baseline — students entering with lower scores typically see larger gains. Completion of the structured curriculum is the strongest predictor of improvement.
Your dashboard includes real-time student progress tracking, score projections, engagement and completion rates, cohort comparisons (by grade, section, or demographic), and exportable reports. Monthly progress summaries and end-of-cycle outcome reports are delivered automatically. All reports are designed to be board-ready.
Yes. We are FERPA compliant and follow industry best practices for student data privacy and security. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell or share student data with third parties. Our data processing agreements are available upon request during the procurement process.
